 Justin gained his PPL in 1968 and has flown recreationally ever since. His PPL has  lapsed recently along with it's assistant instructors rating due to time spent Europa building. He has a Silver'C' gliding and a share in a B4 Pilatus Glider at Portmoak in Scotland. Justin's degree is in Mechanical Engineering. From textile manufacturing he switched to computing in 1979. After a spell designing mainframe business systems for ICL he then joined Ferranti in Edinburgh and was involved in the introduction of microcomputing throughout the company for an exciting 10 years which started with CPM and Intel 8086. Justin now runs his own Computer System Design Business in Edinburgh called SystemWise. He has got tea shirts in radio controlled aeroplanes, building kit cars and building extensions to his house. He commentates for our air show at East Fortune. He lives in Edinburgh with his wife Fiona and his two sons Fergus(Software Engineer) & Rodger(Stockbroker)
