MemberWise is a Windows package that administers subscription collection. It handles a large majority of the diverse methods of collecting subscriptions, printing all necessary communications and printing membership cards.

MemberWise also does “club accounting”. A sales ledger allows invoicing, statements and simple stock valuations. Payments and expenditure through unlimited numbers of both bank accounts and trading accounts gives comprehensive accounting including VAT and bank reconciliation.

MemberWise is unique in that it allows subscriptions to be controlled separately from the Treasurer’s accounting by producing a transaction transfer document (either summary or detailed) to feed an existing accounting package. For Sage, Pegasus and other mainstream accounting packages, MemberWise can produce a file transfer on floppy or through a communications modem. This allows the job of subscription collection to be delegated to someone other that the Treasurer if necessary. The Membership Secretary can run MemberWise on his/her home PC and transfer the transactions when it is convenient.
